Cover Supervisor

Required as soon as possible 2 Cover Supervisors – permanent, TTO 32 ½ hours per week. Grade 2c point 22-25 £15,471 - £16,967 (actual salary)

This is a fantastic opportunity for two enthusiastic individual s to join the Cover Supervisor Team of four at Walkden High School. You will be able to supervise the learning of whole classes of pupils during the short term absence of the class teacher. You will be able to deliver planned lessons under the guidance of teaching staff, manage pupil behaviour and support pupils in learning activities in line with the school's policies and procedures.

The principal responsibility of Cover Supervisors is to maintain the quality of learning during short term absence and provide support for the whole school through a range of duties including collecting work, organising and creating resources, creating a safe and purposeful learning environment and managing pupils' behaviour. You will have high expectations of our pupils and be committed to raising their educational achievement.
