Job overview
Fir Vale School is an over-subscribed 11–16 school, providing for an ethnically diverse and vibrant student population.
To join a team contributing to the delivery of the 11-16 curriculum through the supervision of teaching groups during the short term absence of the class Teacher. Under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, the post holder will assist in the implementation of work/support programmes, manage student behaviour and assist students in relevant activities.
Candidates should have excellent inter-personal skills, a confident manner, educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with the ability to motivate and inspire students in their learning. An individual training and induction package provided by the school presents an ideal opportunity to begin or further your career in education. Experience in delivering PE or coaching sports is desirable.
