Cover Supervisor Level 3 SCP 18-21 £13,658 – £14,868 per annum.
Contract - Temporary in the first instance until 31/8/19. There is potential for the contract to then be made permanent.
(32 hours per week term time only plus 5 Inset Days)
A well qualified and dynamic individual with a commitment to high standards is required to provide classroom supervision for any short term absences of teachers. Cover Supervisors deliver pre prepared lessons for classes in both KS3 and KS4 in the absence of teaching staff and provide additional support for students’ learning as appropriate.
This post is especially suited to a graduate interested in pursuing a career in education or to a newly qualified teacher.

About The Sutton Academy
The Sutton Academy is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in St Helens, Merseyside. It is part of a single-academy trust called The Sutton Academy Trust and sponsored by St Helens College. The school will provide 1550 places to secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18, when fully subscribed.
The school opened as a new provision in September 2010.
