We are seeking to appoint a committed individual who will assist the teaching team at Bishopsgarth. You will work under the guidance of teaching staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement work programmes with individuals/groups in or out of the classroom including the supervision of whole classes during the absence of teachers. You will be responsible for supervising students on work left by the teacher and assist in preparing the learning environment and the materials required. You will also be responsible for liaising with external agencies when additional support is required.
You must possess good communication and listening skills and ensure that respect and confidentially are maintained at all times.
