Cover Supervisor (Study Centre)

32.5 hours a week, 38 weeks pa (term time)

Support Grade E

The Role

You will be a key person covering for absent teachers, promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a constructive working environment for all students mainly within our Study Centre. You will work closely with teachers to ensure that students have clear instructions and the necessary resources for their learning.

• Experience of working with students in a formal setting without immediate supervision
• Ability to manage student behaviour effectively
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and resilient approach to working in a role where change is a constant
• Commitment to keeping our students safe - with knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection, confidentiality, Health & Safety and other key policies/procedures
• The ability to use school IT systems
