Contract Type: Permanent, part time (37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year)
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Cover Supervisor who will share our determination to transform the life chances of our students. We are looking for a highly effective colleague who works hard and has high standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a key role at the heart of our school for Year 7 to Year 11 students. We have 550 students on roll and this is forecast to grow to over 600 in the coming years.
Breckland School is a good and improving school well regarded by the local community with whom it works closely. Staff enjoy working here and our students are well behaved and keen to learn. We have recently become part of Unity Schools Partnership, and are excited about the opportunities this brings. This role reports directly to Breckland School’s Acting Vice Principal. Breckland School is a co-educational, non-denominational secondary school in Brandon, Suffolk. It is run by Sabres Educational Trust.
There are 550 students on the school roll, aged from 11 to 16, expected to grow to 600 in a few years. Breckland School has well-established links with local primary schools and post-16 providers. The school offers a variety of enrichment activities, including the Duke of Edinburgh bronze award, as well as local, national and international trips and visits.
