The role will also provide support to a specialist department which will be dependent on the successful candidate.

You will be/have:

• A proactive individual who is able to deliver engaging and interesting lessons suitable to meet the needs of all pupils.

• Required to provide effective class room cover in the absence of the main class teacher.

• Able to effectively manage behaviour within the classroom.

• Able to assist in the overall raising of pupil standards and achievements, through raising pupils’ esteem, expectations and

aspirations both during lessons and extra curricular.

• Able to inspire pupils of all abilities within a range of subjects to achieve their highest potential across Key Stage 3/4.

• The ability to deal with situations in a calm and professional manner.

• Proven organisational, time management and problem solving skills.

• Passionate about the education of young people.

• Experience of working with children with varying ages.

• Flexible, adaptable with a ‘can do’ attitude and a good sense of humour
