We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our school. The successful applicant will be confident, have a proven track record of leading a group and be willing to work as part of a team.  The Cover Supervisor will work under the guidance of teaching staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement work programmes with individuals/groups in or out of the classroom including the supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teachers.

This is a temporary role within the team during long term staff absence (subject to a six month probation period) for 33.5 hours per week, 8.15am-3.30pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch per day), Monday to Friday, and for 39 weeks per year during term time, including inset days.

The Cover Supervisor role will suit applicants with outgoing personalities who are looking for an exciting and rewarding role, or looking to gain classroom experience before applying for a PGCE/SCITT.
