Cover Supervisor
Scale 5 – Actual Salary - £18,853 to £20,256
37 hours per week - 8.00 am to 4.00 pm
Full Time term time plus three additional days
We are looking to appoint inspirational Cover Supervisors who share our belief in the highest standards of academic attainment in a comprehensive setting.
The successful candidate should be willing to commit to a programme of professional development that will prepare them to work in the classroom. If appointed you will deliver pre-planned lessons to release staff for professional development opportunities and to cover for short-term absences. The post would appeal to individuals who are self-directed and have good interpersonal skills.
This is therefore an ideal role for candidates who may be keen to pursue a career in teaching and see this role as an opportunity to gain valuable experience in education to then go on and train to be a teacher.
