Job overview
Bodmin College require a Technician who will support both our Creative Arts staff and students in sound, lighting and digital media. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience supporting productions and shows. The college uses Logic and Garageband (DAW) and has an Element 2 desk (ETC) with EOS software.
The successful candidate will join our inspirational, creative, supportive and close-knit team based in purpose-built facilities within the Drama, Dance and Music Departments. Our Creative Arts Faculty provide a vibrant extra-curricular offer for all year groups with many performance opportunities throughout the year including our annual Dance Platform and College Show. The Creative Arts Technician may also want to develop a stage crew to help support performances and productions.
Duties will also include provision of practical and technical support for both staff and students within the faculty. The ability to work flexibly and on your own initiative is essential. This role will include some evening and weekend work supporting shows and productions, for which TOIL will be awarded.
