Big Creative Training is a well-established and expanding creative industry training provider with a long track record of delivering positive outcomes for learners. Our mission is to improve the lives of young people through high quality training and creative industry experiences. 

We have more than 400 young people per year going through our vocational training programmes including apprenticeships, and they all take qualifications in maths and English. We have great industry links and work with over 100 creative sector employers and SMEs. 

We now looking for an outstanding Marketing Assistant level 3 tutor to join our team based in Walthamstow, East London. 

You will need to have a strong understanding of marketing in a creative environment, such as music, film, fashion or media. This is an exciting opportunity to teach, within a successful and supportive framework. Candidates will have maths and English at GCSE grade “C” or 4 and above, and will be educated to degree level with evidence of outstanding practice working in a similar environment.

Key tasks

(Lead Tutor)

• Plan & deliver an engaging Creative Marketing course relevant to the music and media industries

• Provide apprentices with developmental feedback

• Deliver in accordance with structure & guidance provided by BCT Teaching & Learning Lead / Ofsted good practice

(Work Coach)

• To support mentor and work along side a minimum of 6 learners and employers to develop and support them to proceed into gateway in order to pass EPA. 

• The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of young people

• The ability to develop and evolve with the creative industries

Desired qualities

• Strong Marketing delivery and experience in the wider and creative industries

• Teaching & Delivering courses to learners from all backgrounds

Salary and days of work

• This is a part time position of two days a month at a day rate of £160 – freelance on invoice

• Start date 1st September + 3 planning days in August. 

• Work coach role equates to £1000 per apprentice
