Creative Visual Arts Technician - Specialist within Photography – Alton Campus

Part time 20 hours per week , 36 weeks per year.

Grade 3, point 10 £20,113.44 per annum, pro rata  (actual salary - £8,731.16)

The College is seeking to appoint a technician for our Creative Visual Arts department. Applicants should ideally have experience of working in a similar role within an educational setting.

We require a Photography Technician to maintain all specialist photographic equipment within the subject, including darkroom and studio lighting, and to provide technical support to students and staff during practical lessons. Essential skills required are: relevant industrial/subject experience, Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom; Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint, knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. The candidate must be flexible in approach, innovative and creative in meeting the needs of learners and committed to student support.
