4.5 hours per week, 28 weeks per year (Mondays AM, Tuesdays PM & (Wednesdays PM during the season)

Working alongside highly qualified and experienced coaches you will not only develop your coaching skills you will also contribute to the success of an academy programme that is its 17th year.  Coaching and supporting young players, the Cricket programme has had continued success in both the league and Cup during its 17 years and if a challenging, competitive environment that has a strong team ethos sounds appealing then the coaching role at Huddersfield New College could be for you! The Cricket programme has been voted one of the top 100 cricket programmes in England for the last 3 years by the cricketer magazine and has supported many players into top level league cricket or in gaining county and national honours.

As the cricket coach, you will work with the Head of Cricket in planning, delivering and analysing the squad’s performance week on week. You’ll be expected to deliver sessions, support organising the squad at training and oversee the running of a team during the week and on match days. You will also need to monitor attendance, feedback on player performance and reflect a high standard of behaviour to those you coach

Applicants should ideally hold an ECB Level 2 badge and have experience in grassroots & league cricket both playing and coaching.
