This position would suit a teacher with a proven track record of outstanding practice who wishes to embrace the challenge of working within a specialist setting. The ability to work positively with young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties is essential. The organisation of the provision is based on a primary model. As the lead teacher you would be responsible for the delivery of English and Maths, (accredited at key stage 4), with support from specialist curriculum leaders. A subject specialism is not the priority here but versatility, enthusiasm, resilience, unconditional positive regard for the young people and teaching expertise is! Specialist support and training will be provided for any teacher who wishes to move from a mainstream setting.

A TLR allowance will be available for an outstanding leader who is willing to offer an appropriate middle leadership responsibility.
