JOB TITLE:  Curriculum Administrator 
SALARY:  £18,354 - £20,055

The City of Bristol College are looking for a full time Curriculum Administrator to ensure a high level of service to all learners, staff and visitors, working as part of an administrative pool.

The role will involve acting as a key contact point for College functions and services in relation to College information and data and to be responsible for the maintenance and development of all records relevant to the role.

The successful applicant will need to successfully demonstrate a flexible approach to provide, for example:

  • word processing, preparation of expositions, dealing with          correspondence and telephone enquiries;
  • reception service for all visitors;
  • taking minutes of meetings;
  • events and activities;
  • Ordering consumable materials including tracking orders and purchases.

In addition, the successful post holder will need to be experienced in of setting up administrative systems and procedures and demonstrate experience of working in a busy administrative role with the ability to multi task and ensure accuracy at all times.

Essential criteria for the role is that GCSE at levels A - C including Maths and English or equivalent or NVQ3 in Business Administration is held and you are willing to work towards an level 2 IT qualification.

The post is based at out College Green Site, and some travel will be required to our other sites in Bristol on occasions.

We’ll look after you with comprehensive training and induction process as well as 26 days holiday as well as an additional 16 bank holiday and College closure days (totalling 42 days) - so you will have plenty of time to recharge your batteries too!

City of Bristol College is a mixed, non-demoniational higher education college in Bristol, serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college has over 2,000 students attend every year. The City of Bristol College offers over 1,000 academic and vocational courses.

City of Bristol College was founded in 1996. The higher education college has a wide range of learning facilities to help students expand their practical experience while in the classroom. These include two academy run salons, where students can train in a professional environment, a training restaurant and brasserie and specialist creative and media facilities, including Mac suites, digital editing suites and art and fashion studios. The college provides accommodation for students who live far away from the campus.
