Westminster Kingsway College are looking for an innovative and dynamic curriculum lead for our Creative and Digital Skills Academies.

You will be working as part of an enterprising team creating training opportunities and programmes to support Londoners into work in the digital and screen industries. This is an opportunity to be part of a college group rated by Ofsted as a good provider making a strong contribution towards skills needs.

CCCG's Mayor's Skills Academies focus on filling the skills gaps by working with industry and community organisations to develop quality, sector-specific bespoke training, led by industry demands. You will be able to adapt and contribute to the demands required to ensure London residents receive quality training and support.

Your role will involve recruiting industry facilitators to run programmes, developing new and innovative curriculum with industry partners, manage the quality and effectiveness of programmes and contribute to academy outreach events and promotional activities.

The successful Curriculum and Partnership Manager will carry out lesson and tutorial observations, self-assessment reports and quality improvement plans. As the Curriculum and Partnership Manager, you will be reporting into the Academy Leads and line manage the facilitators and lecturers within the team. 

About you: 

  • You must be experienced in developing and building curriculums,
  • You must have knowledge and awareness of current industry environment and trends,
  • You must have demonstrable experience in leadership and development of staff,
  • You must have a high standard of teaching and learning skills,
  • You must be confident in building and maintaining partnerships with industry contacts,
  • You must be able to deliver high quality course materials inclusive of schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments schedules and learning materials.

About Westminster Kingsway College:

Westminster Kingsway College is a further education college in central London with centres in Camden and Westminster. It offers a huge array of academic and vocational courses for 16-18 year olds and adult learners, such as A-Levels, BTECs, Apprenticeships, Foundation Degrees, Access to Higher Education, employability training and short courses. It also offers bespoke training for employers and specialist programmes delivered in conjunction with the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy.

Westminster Kingsway is an award-winning provider of hospitality and culinary arts courses. For over a century it has been at the forefront of culinary arts education in the UK, providing UK restaurants with highly skilled chefs, front-of-house staff and management. The college can count among its alumni Jamie Oliver, Ainsley Harriot and Selin Kiazim.

About Westminster Kingsway College

Westminster Kingsway College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in the London Borough of Camden and the London Borough of Westminster, serving pupils from the age of 16 and above. The college has approximately 14,000 students on record every year.

Westminster Kingsway College was founded in 2000 after the amalgamation of Westminster College and Kingsway College. It has learning centres across London in King’s Cross, Regents Park, Camden, Victoria and Soho. It offers students a number of full and part time courses including A levels and vocational courses at Level 1, 2, and 3. The college provides training on behalf of a range of organisations, including South Bank University, Compass Limited, Travelodge, The British Council and Ministry of Defence.
