Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team as Curriculum Director of Geography. This key role will advocate for the subject area and to work collaboratively with others to improve the quality of teaching in the subject area across the Family of Schools. Providing academy subject leaders with advice and support to drive the improvement of the quality of teaching and learning of your subject across the Family of Schools.
The Opportunity

- Provide strong professional advice to drive improvement across the subject area
- Work closely with the Trust Executive Board and Senior Management Team
- Deliver, participate and support Teaching School Hub events as required.
The ideal candidate
- Have a good educational background with evidence of CPD
- Knowledge of current issues facing subject departments and key ways to improve outcomes
- Ability to provide clear evaluation and strategies for improvement for leadership teams and departments
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively influence
- Be a team player, with a ‘can do’ solution focused attitude
