The Northworthy Trust are inviting applications for the post of Curriculum Leader of Vocational and IAG.  This is an exciting opportunity to lead a Vocational Learning and IAG department in a school on the up.  After a recent Ofsted visit, Merrill Academy is now out of Special Measures and has been graded as Requires Improvement.  This is a very exciting time to be joining this academy, where the leadership, staff, students and community are determined to take Merrill Academy to Outstanding.

The successful candidate will be able to shape a Vocational Team, leading two other experienced members of staff.  The academy offers Childcare, Health and Social Care, Hospitality and Travel and Tourism BTEC qualifications and is looking to develop and build on the strength of its Vocational Department.  Results have always been strong in this department and the successful candidate will look to build on this strength to take results to the next step.
