About Swindon Academy

When Swindon Academy opened in September 2007, it was the first 0 - 19 Academy in the country. We now operate from two sites, one in Pinehurst (Nursery - Sixth Form) and one in Penhill (Nursery - Year 6). Swindon Academy is proud to be able to provide excellent teaching facilities on both sites. The state-of-the-art facilities in the new building at Beech Avenue must be seen to be believed!

We are a successful and happy academy with our enthusiastic students, ambitious staff, supportive parents and committed governors.

We are all very proud of our academy and its successes, such as our greatly improved examination results and the wide range of enrichment activities we offer.  We make no secret of striving for excellence in every aspect of school life - and for all children.

We treat children as individuals and we are strongly committed to equality of opportunity.  We want all children to succeed both academically and socially so that they may be well prepared for adult life in a changing society.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Swindon is within reach of many tourist attractions. Swindon is a vibrant, modern town with an exciting combination of a cutting edge technological industry intertwined with a rich industrial heritage.
