We seek to appoint a highly qualified, driven and successful leader with a proven track record for the post of Curriculum Leader of Music. We have an experienced music technician who will be there to support you in your role. We envisage further growing the department in the future and how this is shaped will be very much down to your leadership.

Teaching GCSE and KS3 Music this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to lead our ‘outstanding’ department. You will have a passion for inspiring students, teaching creatively and a love for the subject. Evidence of excellent classroom practice and high expectations of pupil attainment and behaviour is essential.  We also want a candidate who can lead music and choir across the school.

Music is a popular subject at St Bons as is the participation in the musical life of the school. Teaching takes place in fully equipped classrooms and provides students with access to a wide range of musical instruments, musical production facilities, rehearsal rooms and a large suite of Apple Mac computers. 

There is a real passion for music amongst our students and the music facilities are extensively used at lunch times. There is therefore a fantastic opportunity to harness this enthusiasm and talent into something truly remarkable.
