Due to the promotion of the previous post-holder to Deputy Headship, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate teacher of RE to this exciting role.  It is an opportunity to lead a highly successful team, judged Outstanding in their RE provision by the Diocese of Brentwood (July 2019).

Applicants must be a practising Catholic and a parish priest’s reference will be requested.  Leadership scale may be considered for the right applicant.

The RE department achieves excellent results and the subject is a high priority for students and their families. They enjoy the lessons and want to do well. We are looking for someone who is ready to inspire and lead the RE team to ensure that our provision goes from strength to strength.

It would suit someone with a strong moral purpose who wants to actively contribute to the mission of the school, to help the whole community grow "In Holiness And Learning".

All appointments will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.

We expect that you will have evidence of excellent classroom practice and high expectations of pupil attainment and, if  you are overseas trained, we would need evidence that your professional qualifications are recognised in the UK by NARIC&/or the National Teaching Agency (NTA)
