We strongly believe in personalisation and encouraging enquiring minds. The school highly values the importance of developing a community environment in which mutual respect and individual talents are nurtured.
We have a fantastic team of staff and as a Curriculum Leader you will be fully supported by an experienced faculty lead and team of humanities teachers and technicians who share a vision of effective teaching and learning founded on collaborative planning, assessment and instruction, and who help each other to continually improve practice. We have an open-door culture and reflective ethos where we use lesson study to learn from each other all the time.
We are looking for an ambitious and inspiring leader to uphold and further develop our high quality of teaching in Geography. You will be able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of teaching, learning and personalisation strategies and be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of monitoring and evaluating whilst improving the standard of achievement for all students. You will be confident in your abilities to teach and lead effectively across all Key Stages (3, 4 and Post 16) and a specialism in Geography is essential.
