Curriculum Leader - Modern Foreign Languages
We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic educator who can demonstrate confidence, experience, drive and commitment. Your leadership will articulate and develop the vision and strategic direction of the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Department and curriculum to promote outstanding teaching and learning and a love for languages across KS3 and KS4.
We are seeking an individual who:
- Has clear values and moral purpose, focused on ensuring excellent educational outcomes for all students
- Has a track record as an outstanding classroom practitioner and teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (Spanish and/or French) at KS3 and KS4
- Has a passion and proven track record for developing and promoting a love of Languages and ensuring a healthy uptake at GCSE
- Will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and colleagues in the MFL department to develop the Languages curriculum to align with the school's educational vision
- Demonstrates excellent pedagogical skills and will lead by example in order to develop and support others in the MFL department
- Demonstrates high degrees of personal integrity, creativity and resilience

RTS opened to 150 Year 7s in September 2017 growing 150 year on year until we reached capacity in September 2021. We are an 11-16 mixed school with an open admissions criteria. The school is co-located with Clarendon School, Capella School, Richmond upon Thames College and site neighbours Harlequins on the Richmond Education and Enterprise Campus.
