Old Buckenham High School is a comprehensive school set in rural Norfolk but with close transport links to Attleborough and Norwich. We are proud of our strong reputation for providing all our students with an inspiring and challenging learning experience based around excellent teaching, traditional student standards and values, as well as high quality pastoral care, guidance and support. In 2017 we achieved 68% Grade 4 and above (English and Maths), demonstrating the strong attainment of our students against national standards. The Creative Arts department has an excellent reputation in the wider community and regularly stages school production and concerts which are very well received. We wish to continue with this strong tradition and further develop the Creative Arts at Old Buckenham High School.
We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and energetic Curriculum Leader of Creative Arts with a commitment to ‘achieving excellence’ for all our students. First and foremost you will be an excellent Music teacher and have an unwavering passion for your subject. You will have a clear focus and understanding of what makes outstanding teaching and learning, provide excellent outcomes for students and have the skills, passion and vision to lead the Creative Arts Department. You will have the ability to teach Music at both KS3 and KS4, experience delivering GCSE Music is essential.
