We seek to appoint a highly qualified, driven and successful leader to the post of Curriculum Leader of Geography. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing middle leader or an exceptional classroom practitioner to drive progress and school improvement whilst managing this vibrant department.
Evidence of an ability to manage, lead and coach others is essential. You will aim to inspire and facilitate the best possible teaching and learning in geography, generate an enthusiasm for the subject amongst teachers and pupils and promote the subject across the school.
Geography at St Bonaventure’s is a popular and well respected subject. We are committed to providing a relevant, exciting and accessible Geography curriculum for students ranging from Year 7 to Year 13. Geography is a highly regarded option at KS4 and forms an integral part of our GCSE curriculum. Uptake at KS5 is healthy and reflects the enthusiasm for Geography at St Bonaventure’s. The department is well resourced, has specialist rooms and offers a range of trips for field research opportunities.
