Job overview

We are seeking a dynamic Curriculum Leader who will be responsible for the management of the current Technology provision within the Academy as well as providing opportunities to incorporate new programmes of study. This role offers the successful candidate the exciting opportunity to introduce and implement a new Engineering and Design course at Cleethorpes Academy.  The role will entail design and delivery of the curriculum for this subject, responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of attainment and progress, and monitoring and evaluation of all aspects of provision. We would welcome applications from all areas of Design Technology but a strong background in resistant materials or engineering would be desirable for this role.

Whilst we welcome applications from all suitable candidates, please consider that our interview process will require you to attend the Academy in person. All applicants for teaching posts must hold QTS.

We always receive a large number of applications for our advertised posts, and therefore, we cannot provide individual feedback on applications. If you do not hear from us within two weeks of the closing date for this role, your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. As part of this process, all successful applicants are required to apply for an enhanced DBS disclosure.
