We are looking for a dynamic teacher who will go that extra mile, lighting the fire of imagination in children that ‘anything is possible’ and who is with them for every step of their journey, to bring our mission statement to life; to nurture and support each student to personal excellence in all parts of their life. The role of Curriculum Leader for PSHCE is key to this and to ensure this happens for all students, the person recruited to this role will be truly passionate about equality and diversity – this will be an essential element of your application and interview process. This is an exciting and significant whole school role with great potential for future promotion.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a clear understanding of the context of our academy;

• Be passionate about PSHCE (including RSE, Health Education and Fundamental British Values);

• Be aligned to the vision and values of OBA;

• Be an excellent teacher with a track record of delivering and securing outstanding student progress and outcomes;
