Job overview

We are currently looking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated Curriculum Manager for Basic Skills (English and maths). You should have appropriate knowledge and experience working with adult learners and be well qualified. The post holder will manage a high performing teaching team and will join the School management in driving improvements forward.

Ideally, the candidate will:

• have demonstrable ability and experience managing a team of teachers

• have sound knowledge of the curriculum and experience of teaching GCSE and Functional Skills English.

• have excellent organisational skills to allow them to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced educational environment.

• have a proven track record of good/outstanding teaching that meets the needs of all learners, particularly in GCSE English.

• be able to work collaboratively with teaching and management teams to further improve our achievement and retention
