Job overview

Barnet and Southgate College is a highly successful Further Education college with around 16,000 students of all ages from 16 years upwards. The A-level department is a long-established thriving department with an excellent reputation in north London.

The successful applicant for this post, will be able to work effectively cross college and with external agencies/partners and lead on all aspects of the delivery within the Education and Care Department. This department provides itself on providing Outstanding Teaching and Learning for all students along with high achievement and progression rates. 

We require a knowledgeable, motivated, and passionate curriculum manager who can ensure the college has excellent delivery models across all qualifications / programme areas. 

There is a need to ensure staff deliver high quality lessons and can further develop their skills through CPD and other staff improvement strategies. It is also important that we utilise and develop a bank of engaging and accessible resources that are available for students and staff.

We require someone with very good digital skills and excellent communication skills with the ability to analyse data and act/report on issues. 

The right person will have great team leading skills and can line manage very effectively.
