About the Role:

  • ASAP Start
  • Full-time role, contract until the 31 March 2023 (1 term)
  • Ability to teach Year 11 and 12 QCAA Dance Syllabus
  • Ability to teach Year 7-10 Dance
  • Ability to Teach Year 7 English
  • Accredited teacher with Lutheran Education Australia, highly desirable
  • Current eligibility to teach in Queensland and work in Australia
  • Preference for experienced teachers with gifted and talented training, highly desirable
  • Willingness to assist with GEL – Grow, Empower, Learn (student holistic care program), GEL lessons, Chapel
  • supervision, Inter-School sporting teams or recreational activities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary curriculum issues in Performing Arts education
  • Awareness of National curriculum imperatives


Selection Criteria:

  1. Be suitably qualified with an Education Teaching Degree (qualification must be recognised in Australia)
  2. Be registered, or have the ability to be registered with QCT
  3. Ability to provide current and relevant teaching references from Middle Management/Executive
  4. Leadership level (please note referees will not be contacted prior to your express approval, and all
  5. applications are treated in complete confidentiality)
  6. Have the right to work in Australia
