Bexleyheath Academy is a non-selective comprehensive situated in the heartland of Kent grammar schools. When inspectors visited Bexleyheath Academy in July 2021, they said that the Academy had “transformed” and that “there is a positive atmosphere in classes and around the school”. Inspectors also noted that the school “has completely changed” and have confirmed in their report that Bexleyheath Academy is officially a ‘Good’ school in all areas. Inspectors commented that pupils are “polite, friendly and considerate” and “actively demonstrate the school value ‘be big-hearted’.”

Bexleyheath has been on an incredible journey of improvement, from Special Measures, ‘Inadequate’ in all areas, to our current status as a ‘Good’ school. We have a fantastic team of friendly, happy staff who have worked hard to realise that transformation.

In terms of the broader school, we recognise that teaching and leading is a demanding career, and we aim to ensure that staff who have chosen to join the profession are supported as they can be. We have a zero-tolerance approach to anything that interrupts learning. At Bexleyheath, we prioritise our staff’s well-being and fiercely protect that work/life balance. Due to our approach, we have excellent staff retention rates.

We are now hiring a Data Administrator to join our fantastic team of support staff. Within this role, you will provide effective and professional administrative support to the Operations/Data Manager/for the Academy and delegated line manager.

Any position in education is inevitably laden with values and ideals, and we are a school built on shared ownership of these. We wish to give our students the very best start that we can in life and, through hard work and determination, we hope that these values and ideals start to take shape as something recognisable in the futures that we help build.

Should you wish to find out more about what we do or would like to talk to the Principal, Rubeka Luthfa, directly, then please feel free to do so using rluthfa@bexleyheathacademy.org

Closing date: Monday June 19th 2023

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we receive an overwhelming response.

Academies Enterprise Trust and all of our academies are committed to ensuring the highest levels of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils, and we expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Academies Enterprise Trust embraces diversity and promotes equality of opportunity. Job share, part time and flexible working opportunities will be considered.
