Dubai Heights Academy is seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Data Administrator.

Dubai Heights Academy is a warm and welcoming place to work. Located in the Al Barsha South area of Dubai, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team.

The school opened in 2017. It offers an inclusive, exciting and outstanding education to an international community of students from FS1 to Year 12 (2025-2026) and will continue to grow organically to Year 13.

The campus is state-of-the-art with separate buildings for each phase as well as a 380 seat auditorium. There are three temperature controlled swimming pools, fully equipped science and computer labs, specialist rooms for art, DT, music, and drama, a library, two multipurpose sports halls, a full size football pitch, a variety of outdoor play areas and a spacious canteen. The academic year 2025-2026 will see the opening of a brand new secondary building, significantly enhancing the current facilities.

Dubai Heights Academy provides a curriculum that meets the needs of all of our students and follows the National Curriculum for England as the basis of its curriculum. This has been tailored to comply with local requirements and supplemented with Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Moral Education and Social Studies. In addition, Dubai Heights Academy has partnered with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to develop and deliver a bespoke AI (artificial intelligence) project-based programme for secondary and an early language programme using social robots for Primary, to further enrich our broad and balanced curriculum.

Job Overview:

The school currently has just under 700 students enrolled, with numbers expected to increase to approximately 1,060 in the upcoming academic year, on a trajectory towards a maximum capacity of 1,800 students.

The role will involve but is not limited to, the following:

1. Data System Maintenance and Support (MIS & CRM)

  • Assist in the daily management and upkeep of the school’s data systems (e.g., iSAMS and OpenApply).
  • Maintain and update internal student data trackers as required.
  • Support the accuracy, security, and integrity of all data in line with school policies
  • Provide guidance and support to staff using school data systems.

2. Educational Software Administration

  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of platforms such as Kerboodle and Renaissance Place.
  • Liaise with software providers to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure user access and data are regularly updated.

3. External Assessment Administration

  • Support access and management of online platforms for GL Assessments, CAT4, NGRT, etc.
  • Generate and distribute login credentials for students and staff.
  • Coordinate assessment schedules in collaboration with relevant staff to meet deadlines.

4. Data Handling and Reporting

  • Assist in the compilation and analysis of internal and external assessment data.
  • Support Heads of Departments with reports and insights as needed.
  • Prepare demographic and statistical reports for internal and external use, including uploads to the KHDA portal.

5. Academic Report Preparation

  • Collate student data, including attendance and punctuality, for termly reports.
  • Help coordinate the timely release and distribution of reports to parents and guardians.

6. Administrative Assistance

  • Provide general administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and the Data Manager as requested.
  • Participate in relevant training and school events where necessary.

7. Professional Conduct

  • Demonstrate professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail in all work.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies on data handling and privacy.

8. Additional Duties

  • Carry out other tasks reasonably requested by the Principal or leadership team, including during holiday periods when required.


The successful applicant will be required to have the following: 

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data management, preferably in a UAE educational setting.
  • Experience in managing KHDA data including student attainment and progress preferred
  • Proficiency in using a school MIS, CRM and other educational software.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in data entry and database management systems in addition to experience with admissions software and CRM
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • A creative, tenacious, self-motivated individual who thrives under pressure
