The school opened in 2017. It offers an inclusive, exciting and outstanding education to an international community of students from FS1 to Year 12 (2025-2026) and will continue to grow organically to Year 13.

The campus is state-of-the-art with separate buildings for each phase as well as a 380 seat auditorium. There are three temperature controlled swimming pools, fully equipped science and computer labs, specialist rooms for art, DT, music, and drama, a library, two multipurpose sports halls, a full size football pitch, a variety of outdoor play areas and a spacious canteen. Our sprawling 292,000 sqft campus boasts 3 buildings dedicated for each phase, and we are thrilled to announce the recent opening of our brand new secondary building in August 2025, marking our most ambitious project yet.

Dubai Heights Academy provides a curriculum that meets the needs of all of our students and follows the National Curriculum for England as the basis of its curriculum. This has been tailored to comply with local requirements and supplemented with Arabic language, Islamic Studies, Moral Education and Social Studies. In addition, Dubai Heights Academy has partnered with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to develop and deliver a bespoke AI (artificial intelligence) project-based programme for secondary and an early language programme using social robots for Primary, to further enrich our broad and balanced curriculum.

Job Overview

Dubai Heights Academy has an opening for an enthusiastic and passionate Data Administrator who will contribute significantly to our school's success.

We expect all applicants to be well qualified, self-motivated, adaptable, imaginative, and keen to join a team that is committed to academic and operational excellence.

iSAMS Administration & Database Support Tasks (not limited to)
  • Administration and development of iSAMS.

  • Day-to-day database operations, user permissions, modules, and data integrity.

  • Annual iSAMS rollovers and academic year configuration.

  • Assessment tracking, gradebooks, report templates, and data exports.

  • Provide first-line support and guidance to staff using iSAMS.

  • Develop the use of the parent portal


Assessment Coordination & Data Management
  • Coordinate the administration of mandatory and standardised assessments not limited to but including:

    • CAT4

    • PTE, PTM, PTS

    • NGRT

    • ABT and IBT assessments

  • Manage data imports, validation, and reporting of assessment outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate baseline, attainment, and progress tracking systems.

  • Produce assessment analysis to support academic leaders.

  • Develop assessment data tracking and live dashboards


Educational Platforms Administration
  • Administer and manage learning platforms not limited to but including:

    • Seesaw

    • Kerboodle

    • ActiveLearn

    • White Rose

  • Oversee system set-up, class allocations, data synchronisation, roll over and user access.

  • Ensure alignment between academic systems and reporting frameworks.

CRM & Student Data Systems
  • Support the management of the OpenApply CRM platform.

  • Maintain accurate student data and ensure integration between systems.

  • Assist with admissions reporting and data reconciliation.


Admissions & Operations Support
  • Work closely with Admissions to verify student numbers alignment on all database systems

  • Support timetable and class list generation

  • Manage student digital records

  • Manage attendance data


Regulatory Compliance & Inspection Readiness
  • Prepare and submit student census data for KHDA.

  • Maintain accurate and inspection-ready databases.

  • Support the preparation of data reports and analysis for KHDA inspections.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE data protection regulations and school policies.

Data Reporting & Analysis
  • Collect and collate relevant department data

  • Produce academic data reports for SLT and Heads of Department.

  • Maintain tracking dashboards for attainment and progress.

  • Support data-driven school improvement initiatives under the direction of the Data Manager.

Systems Development & Operational Support
  • Assist the Data Manager in developing and improving academic data architecture.

  • Support integration between platforms and automation of data processes.

  • Liaise with external providers to resolve technical issues where required.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.

  • Formal training or certification in iSAMS (or significant demonstrable experience as a system administrator).

Essential Experience
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working with MIS systems in a school environment (preferably iSAMS).

  • Experience administering and analysing standardised assessments (e.g. CAT4, PTE, PTM, PTS, NGRT, ABT, IBT).

  • Experience managing academic databases and student information systems.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, data validation and reporting).

  • Experience preparing regulatory or census reports (e.g. KHDA or equivalent authority).

  • Knowledge and experience of Power BI or similar platform is preferred.

Essential:

Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field

Previous experience in admissions or a related field within an educational setting

Exceptional interpersonal skills to actively pursue and convert interests to enrolments

Strong understanding of the school's admission policies and procedures, including admission criteria, application processes and deadlines

Strong organisational and time management skills

Proficiency in data entry and database management systems in addition to experience with admissions software

Knowledge of local (KHDA) and federal (MOE) regulations in relation to school admissions

Ability to set and achieve enrolment targets

Effective written and verbal communications

Familiarity with marketing and recruitment strategies

Evidence of continuous professional development

A creative, tenacious, self-motivated individual who thrives under pressure
