Our ethos of ‘enjoy  respect  achieve’ underpins everything that we do. We give students unparalleled opportunities through an outstanding curriculum offer which is enriched by an extensive co-curricular programme. All students make excellent progress with their academic studies at our school, with staff building strong relationships and knowing every child as an individual. In 2026, 84% of students achieved Basics at grade 4, 72% at grade 5+ and 40% of all the grades awarded were 7-9.

These academic outcomes are balanced with wellbeing and pastoral support which secures exceptional personal development. We are leaders in outdoor education with an outdoor classroom, the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme running for all students and regular Big Expeditions to wilderness locations running alongside a variety of other trips at home and abroad. These core values help our students flourish throughout their school career, and on into later life.

We have exceptionally high expectations of learners and our staff are free to teach in a disruption free environment where students focus on learning and show very positive attitudes. Staff are extremely proud of the school and appreciate its focus on collaboration, equality and supporting workload. Staff also benefit from high-quality profressional development, with many choosing to continue their career progression within our school.

Our school opened its doors in 2016 and has grown substantially into an oversubscribed school, with 1450 students on roll. This includes the newly opened Bohunt Wokingham Sixth, which will cater for 300 students, allowing us to see our students through to 18. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play an active part of the development of the school as it grows, with rich opportunities for professional and career development both within the school and across the wider Academy Trust.

We are part of the supportive and innovative Bohunt Education Trust, a MAT with nine secondary schools. We may be separated geographically, however, all BET schools share the same vision and values. We believe as a trust, we are stronger together. We believe that children and adults should enjoy learning and life in school.
