About the role

Vision for Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly reputable SEND School in the Stockport area who cater for young people aged 11 - 16 who have suffered Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).  We are looking to recruit a Data Analyst whose role will be to scrutinise information using data analysis tools.  The successful candidate will be required to present meaningful results taken from raw data to help the senior leadership team make critical decisions by identifying various facts and trends.


Main duties include:

• Documenting ‘As Is’ & ‘To Be’ processes with service areas

• To collate, analyse, interpret, and present complex data around areas such as assessment, achievement, attendance, safeguarding and behaviour

• Helping colleagues to use MS365 Office suite 

• Delivering briefings to SLT and training to the staff teams over numerous sites

• To perform initial analysis to assess the quality of the data

• To perform further analysis to determine the meaning of the data

• performing final analysis to provide additional data screening

• preparing reports based on analysis to be presented to management


Requirements for this post of Data Analyst include:

• Business Analyst / Data Analyst qualification (Level 4 of higher)

• An understanding of SIMS data and report creation

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines

• Excellent communication skills including explaining complex ICT solutions to non-technical colleagues
