As Stoke-on-Trent’s most rapidly improving school, we are seeking to appoint a Data Analyst, who is committed to raising standards through innovative and creative practice.
We are seeking to appoint a Data Analyst to support the Senior Leadership Team in making a positive impact on the educational progress of all students.
The successful candidate will organise, track and monitor student performance data, including the use of analysis software to build data collection systems and reports. They will contribute to the monitoring of student progress and work with the Senior Leadership Team where concerns may become apparent. As a focal point in matters related to student tracking, they will have a responsibility in supporting the learning and progress of students within the academy.
The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and will be well organised, flexible and committed to pursuing all necessary measures to improve the progress and support raising the attainment of all groups of learners. They will be aware of current changes to data protection regulations and be able support GDPR compliance.
They will have excellent IT skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; including Access and Excel. A knowledge of Capita SIMS would be an advantage but full training will be given to the right candidate. The role may be suitable for a new graduate with a relevant field of study.
