Job overview

Lampton School is a large, mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 school. We were judged as "Outstanding" in all categories by Ofsted in 2005, 2008, 2013 and 2024. We are the lead school for the London West Alliance, and we are a teacher training partner with the University of Roehampton. As a member of the Hounslow Education Partnership we can offer staff excellent opportunities for professional learning and career progression.

We are seeking to recruit a skilled and detail-oriented data analyst to support the Senior Leadership Team in driving school improvement through effective use of data and communicating with parents. The successful candidate will take a lead role in collecting data and communicating this to parents. They will also extract and analyse data from school systems, ensuring accuracy at all times. They will produce high-quality reports for a range of audiences, including senior leaders, middle leaders and trustees, presenting complex information in a clear and accessible way. A key aspect of the role will be identifying trends and patterns in areas such as attainment, attendance and behaviour, and translating these into meaningful insights that inform strategic decision-making. The post holder will also create visually engaging dashboards, charts and summaries that enable staff to quickly interpret performance and respond effectively.

We are looking for a highly analytical individual with excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of data. The ideal candidate will be confident working with large datasets, using tools such as Excel to manipulate and present information efficiently. They will be able to communicate complex findings clearly to non-specialist audiences and demonstrate a proactive approach to improving data systems and processes. Strong organisational skills, discretion and the ability to manage competing deadlines are essential. Above all, we are seeking someone who is curious, solution-focused and committed to using data to support improved outcomes for all students.

Lampton School actively encourages and supports the safeguarding and protection of all its students. This post involves regulated activity in relation to children and as such it is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure. In accordance with the DfE's Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025 statutory guidance, we will complete a search of publicly available content online relating to any candidate seeking to work at Lampton School.
