Job overview
We have an immediate vacancy for a positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified Data and Assessment Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing efficient and effective assessment, reporting, recording and tracking of data across the School, [including attendance and admissions reporting]. They will also be responsible for the presentation and integrity of management information and data to support management decisions. A detailed knowledge of statutory data reporting requirements, such as School Census, would be advantageous, though comprehensive training and support will be available.

About Heston Community School
Heston Community School is a mainstream, co-educational, non-denominational, state-academy, secondary school for children aged 11-19. It is situated in Hounslow in Middlesex and it has 1220 pupils on its roll.
The school was officially opened by the Charter Mayor in 1932 at a cost of £21,700 and attended by what was described as one of the largest and most representative assemblies which had ever gathered in Heston.
More recently the Hogarth Building was opened in 2010 and a purpose-built sports facility and a state of the art learning and teaching facility.

The introduction, in September 2015, of a programme to encourage pupils to challenge themselves and work hard, has been welcomed. Teachers provide a range of activities and pupils were keen to explain to inspectors how they stretch themselves by the choices they make. Pupils enjoy coming to school, work hard and have excellent relationships with their teachers.”
