Do you have advanced knowledge of Excel and previous experience of working with data and statistics?

As Data and Examinations Manager, you will lead and be responsible for the provision of accurate student and assessment data. Working alongside the Assistant Head Teacher responsible for data, you will ensure data is effectively used across all areas of the school to drive performance improvements.

You will be responsible for the effective management and administration of the academy’s data management and examination services.

You will ensure that an efficient and professional data service is provided to the senior team and all teaching staff compiling complex spreadsheets, complex Management Information Systems reports, collating data for pupil reports using applicable MIS platforms.

Examination management includes the effective organisation of all aspects of the exams process from entries, sitting of examinations, management of the invigilation team, managing the receipt of examination results on result days and distribution of results of students and liaison with examination boards.

This is a permanent role working for 37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks only.

 You will:

  • Be recognised as the expert within school or our Information Systems.
  • Create, oversee and develop the academy’s use of data for the Senior Leadership Team and for teaching staff.
  • Provide concise and accurate data and reports for SLT to facilitate the effective management of whole school target setting to raise standards and performance.
  • Work with the SLT to regularly review data systems, procedures and working practices.
  • Ensure the effective organisation of sittings for all examinations, including booking venues, seating, resolving clashes and creating the annual timetable for administration of all examinations and tests.
  • Make arrangements for students taking exanimations that have requirements that are out of the ordinary.
  • Recruit, train and monitor external invigilators for each series of examination sessions.
