Job overview

The role

This role would suit a forward-thinking person with a keen awareness of analysing complex data and creating easily understood accurate information to inform the Academy and guide decision-making.

You will perform statistical analysis, model scenarios and present information, which will be used to report to key stakeholders at all levels.

The role offers an exciting opportunity for the post holder to continue the development of the Academies Trust's information system to keep pace with national developments and local demands. The system was noted by Ofsted in its report on the January 2017 inspection “Leaders have developed a sophisticated tracking system that allows leaders and teachers to pinpoint exactly where pupils, including different groups of pupils, are falling behind.”

Why should you work with us?

Your dedication & commitment is not only recognised, but highly rewarded:

  • Work laptop;
  • Comprehensive CPD;
  • Annual attendance allowance (financial reward for 100% attendance);
  • Complimentary tea and coffee;
  • Complimentary membership of Q3 Gym;
  • Fun & interesting weekly staff incentives (weekly prizes, surprises and rewards following the previous week);
  • Free parking.

Academy ethos

If you are determined to make a difference to the life chances of young people by raising standards, expectations and achievement, you share our passion.

We want every child to feel happy and excited about coming to our Academy.

What they say about us

In January 2017, Ofsted said we continued to be a Good School. They reported that "Relationships between teachers and pupils are extremely strong and this means that in lessons, pupils work hard, showing respect for one another and their teachers".

A Welcome Message from our Headteacher

Following our Ofsted inspection in September 2022, you would be joining a ‘Good’, ‘calm and orderly’ Academy which ‘serves its community well’ in which ‘teachers have strong subject knowledge’ and are ‘ambitious for all students’. We are looking for someone to join and complement our staff team and support us on our journey to being Outstanding. Our educational philosophy is simple. First and foremost we want every child to feel happy and excited about coming to the Academy. Only when each child feels secure and comfortable can we challenge them to grow and learn together. We want our students to return home telling their families of the memorable exciting learning experiences they have enjoyed. Experiences that make it easier to recall the detail necessary for exam success and experiences that develop their character as much as their academic potential. Our passion is helping young people to flourish and become confident capable adults ready for the world ahead. This passion creates a genuine warmth that supports every member of our Q3 Academy Great Barr community. Our traditional family values and Trust ethos, ‘Life to the full in pursuit of what is good, right, and true’ helps to keep the academic and well-being of every child sharply in focus and drives our ambition for continual improvement. Only if our staff can say that what we provide is good enough for their own children is it good enough for yours, and I’m proud to say this commitment to care, coupled with high academic ambition is helping all our young people to succeed.
