Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba is seeking to appoint an exceptional Data & MIS Manager to join our school from 4th January 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented professional to play a pivotal role in supporting school improvement and securing excellent outcomes for our students.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, curriculum leaders, pastoral teams and the Inclusion Team, the successful candidate will ensure that the school’s data and management information systems are accurate, secure and used effectively. They will provide high-quality analysis and operational support to inform decision-making, improve student outcomes and maintain inspection and regulatory readiness.
The Role
The Data & MIS Manager will lead the effective administration and ongoing development of the school’s management information system, assessment systems and associated data processes.
Combining strong technical expertise with excellent analytical and organisational skills, the postholder will ensure that leaders and staff have access to accurate, timely and meaningful information to support teaching, learning, student support and strategic school improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management and Analysis
Manage the school’s academic assessment, tracking and reporting systems.
Maintain accurate and complete student assessment records across all year groups.
Coordinate whole-school reporting processes.
Produce clear and insightful analysis for the Senior Leadership Team, curriculum leaders, pastoral teams and the Inclusion Team.
Generate reports on student attainment, progress, attendance and examination outcomes.
Support leaders in identifying trends, gaps in performance and students requiring additional support or intervention.
Prepare and validate data required for KHDA inspections, BSO inspections, accreditation and other regulatory requirements.
Ensure that all data is accurate, current, securely maintained and handled confidentially.
Management Information Systems
Oversee the effective day-to-day administration of the school’s management information system (Nexquare) and associated platforms.
Maintain accurate student, parent, staff, curriculum and class information.
Manage data imports, exports, validation checks and system updates.
Administer user accounts, permissions and appropriate levels of system access.
Support the effective integration and transfer of data between school systems and platforms.
Produce regular and ad hoc reports for academic, pastoral, operational and regulatory purposes.
Provide guidance and technical support to staff, promoting consistent and effective use of school systems.
Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and the accessibility of information.
Work with relevant teams and external providers to resolve system issues promptly and effectively.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large and complex datasets.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to present information clearly to different audiences.
Experience of administering databases, information systems or management information systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm, organised and solutions-focused under pressure.
Absolute integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with academic and operational teams.
A commitment to the safeguarding, wellbeing and education of children and young people.
Current residence in the UAE, as this is a local-hire position.
Desirable
A relevant professional qualification.
Previous experience working within a school or educational setting.
Experience using a school management information system.
Knowledge of school assessment, reporting and inspection processes.
Experience of producing dashboards, visual reports or automated data-analysis tools.
