Reporting to the Head of Administration, you will be the driving force behind the operational integrity, security, and continuous evolution of our Management Information System. You will be the custodian of a seamless "Single Source of Truth" across all integrated platforms, ensuring that core information is managed with the highest integrity to empower learning and guarantee safeguarding—including iSams, OpenApply, ManageBac, ReachMoreParents, and Testwise—automating complex workflows and unlocking the full potential of our digital tools to support our teaching and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities
MIS Strategy & System Optimisation
Conduct proactive audits of iSAMS to identify and implement underutilised modules (such as Wellbeing, HR, or Admissions). You will lead the configuration and rollout of these tools, replacing fragmented manual processes with sophisticated, automated solutions.
Data Collection and Maintenance
Manage the systematic extraction of datasets from the parent portal to ensure accurate synchronisation with shared spreadsheets and tracking tools. You will perform regular audits to rectify anomalies or formatting errors and proactively monitor data flows to identify and resolve information gaps independently or through clear
communication with relevant stakeholders.
Integrated Systems Architecture
Oversee the complex bidirectional data flow and APIs between iSAMS and our core platforms. You will ensure perfect data hygiene and synchronisation across the entire school network.
Academic Operations & Annual Rollover
Manage the end-to-end technical cycle for academic reporting and lead the complex annual rollover process, ensuring all digital systems are primed and accurate for the start of each new academic year.
Data Analysis & Strategic
Visualisation: Synthesise raw assessment data (including CAT4 and PASS) into accessible, high-impact dashboards.
Security, Governance & Compliance
Act as the primary gatekeeper for digital security. You will manage role-based access controls and ensure rigorous GDPR compliance across all school platforms, working with ourData Protection Officer to maintain the highest standards of data privacy and integrity.
Expert Support: Serve as the school’s leading authority on MIS functionality, providing high-level technical troubleshooting.

The successful candidate will be an analytical thinker with an exacting eye for detail and a commitment to absolute discretion.
Experience
A proven track record (ideally 3+ years) managing School Information Systems (iSAMS preferred) within an international or high-performing educational environment.
Technical Command
Proficiency in SQL and spreadsheet modelling, with preferred experience using data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau to communicate
complex trends.
Communication
The ability to translate complex database architecture into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Drive
A proactive "problem-solver" mindset, with the ability to manage urgent technical demands alongside long-term strategic projects.
Precision and Diligence
Demonstrate the patience and focus required to perform routine tasks with unwavering accuracy, ensuring that even the smallest data anomaly is identified and
addressed.

From Nursery (age 3+) to Year 11 (age 16+) St. Julian’s broadly follows the National Curriculum for England. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) embraces the two years of Nursery and Reception, ages three to five. Thereafter students progress through the Key Stages of the curriculum.
The Secondary section strives to nurture in each student a sense of self-confidence and happiness; students are encouraged to speak up for themselves and relationships between teachers and students are very positive, engaging and stimulating. At the end of Key Stage 4, students take a series of public examinations (GCSE and IGCSEs).
After age 16, St. Julian’s prepares students for university by offering courses leading to the International Baccalaureate Diploma. St. Julian’s consistently achieves strong results.
