Data and Timetabling Coordinator - Monday to Friday (8:30am to 4:30pm) 


Job role

We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our wonderful school and work with our exceptional students and staff. We are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Data and Timetabling Coordinator to report on student development and progress, with responsibility of ensuring the accuracy of school reports in relation to data. The appointed person will gather and interrogate data to track and report patterns, supporting the school’s use of the Data collection systems, administering collation, interrogation and reporting.


As the school group have converted to the use of the Google Suite, the successful candidate will be exceptional at using Google Sheets, including pivot tables, conditional statements and formulae to interrogate data. In addition, the successful candidate will have some familiarity with, or

willingness to learn the online timetabling programme ASC Timetables and have an understanding of how to convert information held therein to compliment the school’s Management Information System.


The successful candidate will have:

● Knowledge of a range of different school data systems, including MIS, Progress and Data tracking, Timetabling and assessments (or aptitude and willingness to learn) 

● Strong ICT skills including the ability to use complex formulae in spreadsheets including lookups, conditional statements and pivot tables.

● Proven experience of using MIS systems to record and analyse information 

● Ability to analyse and present data accurately to a range of stakeholders 

● Experience of working with young people with SEMH (desirable)

● Experience of working in schools or educational setting (desirable)

● Be inquisitive, organised and energetic, with a good sense of humour

Wilds Lodge School is an independent 38 week specialist boarding and day provision for boys and girls (girls are accepted as day students only) for students aged between 5 and 19 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, set in Empingham, Rutland. Wilds Lodge School is an independent specialist boarding and day provision for boys and girls (girls are accepted as day students only) with social, emotional and mental health difficulties aged between 5 and 19.  All the students at the school have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP).  It was established in 2007 and aims to place an equal emphasis on the educational, social and psychological development of our students.  The key to the success of the school is a strong ethos, developed by a highly experienced and capable staff, and the strength of the relationships between the staff and the students.

The school draws nationally from Local Education Authorities and currently has under 90 students on role of which a small percentage are day students. It offers fortnightly boarding provision although in practice, most return to their families weekly.  The students are grouped into five residential houses with close regard to their chronological age, their social needs and their personal maturity. The main needs of pupils with SEN at the school are social, emotional and mental health difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
