DATA, ASSESSMENT & TIMETABLING LEAD
Salary: NJC Scale 42 (Outer London)
£46,560 per annum pro rata
Actual Salary: £41,200 per annum
Hours: 36 hours per week / 41 weeks per year (some additional days must be worked around GCSE and A-Level Results Days in August). It is a condition of the role that the postholder will be flexible with their working hours as required.
Langley Park School for Girls require an experienced, dynamic and ambitious Data, Assessment & Timetabling Lead to start as soon as possible. We are a thriving and academically successful school. 2019 results were the best ever at both GCSE and A-Level and put LPGS in the top 200 schools in the UK (including selective schools).
LPGS is a calm, friendly and collaborative environment which offers strong staff support. Our CPD programme gives all teachers time to pursue their own priorities. This results in a two week October half term.
This post requires a pro-active, well organised and self-motivated person to be responsible for the management of the school’s SIMS database. The role requires the successful candidate to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and teaching and associate staff to maintain accurate and effective data, assessment, reporting and timetabling to support the school in achieving the best possible outcomes for all students. Good written and verbal communication skills and detailed knowledge of SIMS is essential. Excellent IT skills and a keen eye for detail are required, as well as the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the Examinations Officer and the Reporting & Assessment Officer.
