Job overview
We are seeking a conscientious Data Assistant and Administrator to join our vibrant school. You will play a crucial role in managing the school's data integrity, reporting and analysis. You will support the Senior Leadership Team to make data-based decisions that have a real impact on student achievement.
You will work closely with the pastoral and admin team, managing the administration for pastoral and academic data. You will also be responsible for providing data management support that includes timetable management, admissions, pupil data, census, FSM, PP and the administration. You will be responsible for ensuring the cover requirements of the academy are met which will involve receiving and managing absence calls, as well as providing administrative support where required.
The successful candidate will:
- be responsible for data integrity, including attendance, reporting, census returns, admissions/leavers, exclusions, student and staff details and assessment results
- manage the academy's requirements regarding cover arrangements
- support the academy in providing a high standard of secretarial, administrative and management support to assist in the smooth running of all academy activities

What we offer:
· Staff wellbeing is one of our main priorities. We provide breakfast for staff each morning, soup for lunch and lunch for those on duty. We have parking available, a gym on site and a well-equipped staff room including a pool table
· Our systems and processes for communication, marking and feedback and assessment are streamlined and the approaches we take are research led and based on the needs of our local context. For instance, at present we do not use traditional book marking across the school
· On Fridays, children finish at 1.20pm, giving time and space for professional development amongst staff
