Sharples School Multi-Academy Trust is a Group 6, 11-16 mixed comprehensive with 1,044 pupils on roll, situated in the North of Bolton in pleasant surroundings.  The school provides stimulating and innovative opportunities for learning, transforming the aspirations and educational outcomes for all students and the local community.  Sharples was judged “Good” at its last inspection in May 2019, with areas of outstanding practice.

Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced Data Analysis Manager, with a proven track record, to work strategically with the Senior Leadership Team and will be line managed by the Deputy Headteacher  (Curriculum and Standards).  

The job will involve responsibility for creating, overseeing and developing the school’s use of data for the Senior Leadership Team and the teaching staff, producing clear, concise and accurate information to support Senior Leaders in raising standards of performance in school.

The post requires knowledge of the procedures for a range of tasks which are complex and strategic, thereby requiring excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
