Thomas Hepburn Community Academy are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled professional to lead on the Academy’s use of its data to support and track pupil progress, including the creation and development of analytical solutions to exploit the school’s data information systems; taking responsibility and leading in managing the academy’s information and reporting requirements.
Relevant experience of working with performance information, statistical analysis, management information or data collection is essential, as is experience in the use of ICT systems and software, particularly to interrogate data. Experience of SIMS.net is essential.

Thomas Hepburn Community Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school in Tyne and Wear serving students from the age of 11-16. The secondary school, situated in Gateshead has approximately 477 students on record. Thomas Hepburn Community Academy is part of the Northern Education Trust – a multi-academy trust.
Formerly Thomas Hepburn Community School, Thomas Hepburn Community Academy converted to academy status in 2013. The school was established in 1990.

Thomas Hepburn Community Academy’s vision is ensure that all students and adults show consideration, courtesy and respect to each other at all times. The secondary school focuses on making sure that the welfare of all students is prioritised and promotes a supportive and caring environment where individuals are treated equally. Pupils are encouraged to work to the best of their ability and achieve to the highest of their capabilities. Extra-curricular activities are organised for all year groups, allowing for students to expand their interests and meet new friends outside the classroom – developing their social skills. Thomas Hepburn Community Academy wants to prepare students for the future and work placements are part of the curriculum in Year 10 – allowing for individuals to get a taster into the world of work and develop experience to land them in good stead for the future.
