We wish to appoint a highly-skilled, experienced and adaptable Data Manager to be responsible for the management of key data systems and analysis of a range of pupil-based data. If appointed, you will be expected to maintain and further develop sophisticated systems to facilitate the forensic monitoring of pupils’ attainment and progress, supporting school leaders and class teachers to track progress and plan appropriate support strategies. The successful candidate will lead a small team of staff, must have the ability to learn new software systems quickly and be able to work effectively under pressure, as well as the ability to liaise confidently with staff, parents and pupils.
It is essential that applicants possess relevant qualifications to at least NVQ3 level, have past experience of managing data and information systems and a very high level of expertise in Microsoft Excel. Extensive knowledge of SIMS Assessment Manager and SISRA Analytics is desirable.
This is an extremely important role in a vibrant and busy secondary school, which demands a high level of professionalism and attention to detail, excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
