The School is now recruiting an experienced Data Manager, ideally from the education sector.

You will be responsible for ensuring the comprehensive administration, development and analysis of data-related management information, along with managing, maintaining and developing an efficient and effective school Management Information System (MIS) (SIMs and related analysis tools).

You will have experience of leading the development of data systems and advising the leadership team about MIS strategy. 

To support the DATA leader through providing a full support with examinations analysis, monitoring and tracking student performance data and options information. To support in preparing and disseminating data.

A working knowledge of SIMS is essential at this stage.

A working knowledge of 4Matrix is desirable but not essential.

You will assist the Secondary Data Lead in identifying, tracking and monitoring students not making sufficient progress.

You will have a detailed understanding of DFE accountability measures for KS4 including Progress/Attainment 8 and KS5 Progress Scores as well as a good understanding of the DFE’s “Analyse School Performance”

You will ensure compliance with data protection legislation and safeguarding the integrity of data. You will work closely with the Data Protection Officer to ensure the school complies with GDPR, ensuring the FOI (Freedom of Information) and SAR’s (Subject Access Requests) are appropriately administered. 

We are looking for a creative and innovative Data Manager who has the initiative to understand and solve complex problems in relation to data and MIS.
