Job overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Manager with secondary school experience. You will manage the Academy’s management information system, providing accurate and timely reports to all stakeholders, including statutory data returns to the Department for Education and other agencies.
You will support the Principal in implementing the Academy’s strategic priority regarding the effective use of assessment. You must have a proven record of adapting to and supporting change and the ability to communicate effectively. In addition, you should be highly motivated, organised and able to prioritise tasks.
We are looking for a colleague whose cup is half full and who has a sense of humour. The ideal candidate will:
· have experience and an advanced knowledge of school management information systems and data analysis tools
· have an up-to-date awareness of the national agenda regarding data and assessment · have excellent IT and problem solving skills
· be able to communicate effectively at all levels · be able to multi-task and meet deadlines · demonstrate the ability to take the initiative and be pro-active
· be a team player
This is post is for 37hrs per week (although hours are negotiable for the right candidate), term-time only (plus 2 weeks)
